What with the upcoming European Championships being largely irrelevant this time round, the BBC is desperately trying to drum up a little interest in order to justify the huge amount of money it spent acquiring the rights. The "Who will you support?" campaign is certainly well made and it got me thinking about who Spurs fans might be backing.No doubt Croatia will be popular as it will give us all the chance to take a look at our new boy Modric - but that view must be juxtaposed by the fact that they are the gits that ruined our summer. I think I may plump for Spain due to the (tenuous) Ramos connection and the fact that I quite like it there, but anyone opting for France because "they are the closest country to us" needs shooting!
I was going to include a "I really don't give a toss" option, but come on, that's too easy. So, without further ado I'd like to invite you to vote in the poll I have included on this page, and feel free to post your reasons below.

It will be Spain, hopefully that win the overall tournament, however, Italy and Portugal as well as France are all in with an open shot i would say.

I would like to see Greece retain the crown.
Well I think most Spurs fans would want Croatia to win for our new playmaker but realistically the winner will probably be Ballack's lot or Fabregas' lot or Henry's lot. Either way, someone scummy's gonna win!
But I'll still be rooting for Luka!
My outside bet would be Turkey and Sweeden...
Turkey play some lovely football and pass the ball second to none at times...
Sweeden are just very powerful and always cause a upset.....

england play sad sideways football with no invention or imagination. dont hold your breath we will qualify for south africa! spain for semi final then bottle it.
I hope croatia go out early doors, so modric is nice and fit and injury-free for the start of the season, although it wuld be nice to see him do well.
